Description

A lovely enamel pin doll featuring my Deep-Sea Anglerfish Mermaid species. This enamel pin is made with a thick and sturdy metal base, and plated with prominent gold plating. The anglerfish mermaid is colored in with purple hard enamels, plus a touch of yellow on the centrepiece of her forehead. Dots decorate the design and echo the concept of an anglerfish as a small light in the deep dark sea.

Made with two enamel pin pieces: a body and a tail fin, both unified by a jump ring. The body has two back posts, and the tail fin has one.

This is a Seconds Grade Enamel Pin

This is a Seconds Grade enamel pin, meaning that it has been reduced in price due to visible imperfections. For this pin specifically, it’s very common for one of the ears to have the wrong color, which disrupts the balance of the design a bit. It is still a lovely pin, and a wonderful collector’s item.
