An enamel pin featuring the adorable “heart leaf” sea slug: the Eastern Emerald Elysia! This pin is made in lovely shades of green enamel. In order to use that lovely green dyed plating we have to work with soft enamel, but fear not: a protective coat of epoxy has been added for a more “hard enamel” look and feel. The Eastern Emerald Elysia, also known as the Elysia Chloritica, is a green opisthobranch sea slug. It has similar features to nudibranch sea slugs, and is part of the same mollusca family. This sea slug is lovingly known for both looking like and acting like a leaf.
