Crocheting Anchor the Octopus in Rainbow Colors!

I recently got accepted to join the Etsy Creator Co program, where creatives from around the interwebs are invited to create cozy content around their Etsy favorites.

This month I chose to review Anchor the Octopus: a crochet pattern designed by the super-talented HumbleChild.Co. This pattern is available in their Etsy shop.

I had a lot of fun crocheting Anchor. Watch my full process below!

Materials

To crochet my rainbow-colored Anchor the Octopus, I used one of my favorite chenille yarns: Snug as a Bug by Yarnsmith’s.

I used the following colors:

  • Porcelain (white)
  • Banana (yellow)
  • Shamrock (green)
  • Flamingo Pink
  • Island Blue

I used two full 300g skeins of porcelain white, and roughly one fifth of a skein per rainbow color.

Lots of love, – Evy
